Iconic creatures thrive in the remote inland habitats of the Mediterranean. Wolves stalk deer on snowy mountain peaks, rare Iberian lynx stalk arid scrublands, and two young foxes face their first year alone in Spains dramatic coastal mountains. For all these species, raising the next generation is the ultimate goal.
