Alice’s kitten, Echo, surreptitiously follows his owner into Wonderland. Worse still, soon after arriving, the little feline drinks a power drink meant for the Queen and becomes endowed with supernatural strength. Lewis is categorical: Echo is the monster their ancestors talked about in the Big Book – the one that is destined to destroy Wonderland!
