03: TENERIFE. Tenerife is the largest and most diverse of the seven Canary Island. It is home to Spain’s highest mountain - Pico del Teide with an elevation of nearly 4OOO meters. Tenerife includes an incredible ten defined climate zones!!! There are substantial differences between the north and the south of the island. The northern, windward side receives three fourths of all precipitation, which is why it is green year round.
