There is a dangerous menace roaming about the Leekysoupi: it’s a very large fish, and it attacked Mrs. Marsu. It also attacked Stroy and Blueprint, and it is eating up all the river creatures. For Topangadakota, it’s obviously the spirit totem of the river, Poaskaye-Pané. He tells them the totem is back and it’s unhappy. Hector thinks it’s more likely the predator is a unique creature, and he invites Bennett Farica and John Quaterwinner to study it.
