Marsupilami II (35)
There is a dangerous menace roaming about the Leekysoupi: it’s a very large fish, and it attacked Mrs. Marsu. It also attacked Stroy and Blueprint, and it is eating up all the river creatures. For Topangadakota, it’s obviously the spirit totem of the river, Poaskaye-Pané. He tells them the totem is back and it’s unhappy. Hector thinks it’s more likely the predator is a unique creature, and he invites Bennett Farica and John Quaterwinner to study it. For Stroy and Blueprint, this is the perfect occasion to redeem themselves in their boss’ eyes. Having previously destroyed 2 1/2 tons of fish that belonged to her, they figure they can simply replace it with this one 2 1/2 ton fish. Even Backalive joins the hunt for the sea monster, which turns out to be a giant piranha, a genetic freak created by Felicia Devort’s toxic waste. The monstrous fish ends up swallowing our heroes! Luckily, Aunt Diane figures out the fish is a music lover, and she tames it. Meanwhile, from the belly of the fish, Marsu liberates our friends. In the end, Felicia gets her two tons of fish back: she’s obliged to take care of the giant piranha, now named Willy. (23 min)
