Its starting to look like winter in Michigan. The cold weather doesnt stop Dr. Brenda from responding to an afterhours farm call to treat a down cow. Dr. Pol helps a German Shepherd that is in pain after eating cooked bones. Dr. Lisa uses a portable ultrasound to pregnancy check a highland cow, and Dr. Nicole staples a wound hidden under an Aussiedoodles thick fur. During breaks in the cases, Dr. Lisa leaves the clinic to go cross country skiing, and the Pol family gathers to go sledding.
