LOFOTEN, NORWAY. The archipelago of Lofoten is one of the most spectacular in the world. Situated to the north west of Norway it is Europe’s least densely populated territory. Living here is about days without light in the winter and the midnight sun during the summer. Preserving and protecting the natural beauty of their islands is a key way of life for the islanders, descendants of the Vikings.
