Indigenous educator Phil Breslin journeys down Australia’s rivers to find which riparian animal is most built to survive. His first encounter is with the duck-billed platypus, a peculiar and adorable monotreme, or egg-laying mammal. Phil then gets a grip on the ultra-slimy long-finned eel and learns of its extraordinary reproductive habits before finally catching a river-dwelling bull shark.
