ELIZABETH

Catholic Queen Mary, the eldest daughter of King Henry VIII, dies in 1554. The succession goes to Elizabeth, the daughter of Henry and Anne Boleyn. Young Elizabeth has to solve numerous problems as the country is pressed by powerful Spain, France and the Bishop of Rome. But Elizabeth’s active mind and the ability to make effective decisions would earn her glory as the greatest woman in the history of England.
