Sitting on her rock, Marina the mermaid, is playing around with a sea turtle. On the beach, Zig, a famished hyena, see the mermaid’s body as a delicious fish steak. But just as Zig swims off, he bumps smack into a huge shark… / Zig slaps a cannon together out of magnifying glass, converting sunlight to a super powerful laser beam. He inadvertently tries it on a gorilla, who jumps on the hyena. During the ensuing battle, the laser is accidentally aimed at the sea... / While off jogging, King Neptune spots the mermaid and falls head over heels in love with her.
