The 9th century. In the Irish boonies, at the Monastery of Kells, there lived a clever and curious boy named Brendan. He and the other monks were working hard to protect themselves against the Vikings. But Brendan’s life changes when Brother Aidan arrives at the monastery. Aidan has a mysterious unfinished book with illustrations. Brendan is let into the secrets of illustration art and since that moment his adventures begin.
