THE NOTEBOOK
An elderly man reads a heart-stirring love story to a fellow patient in a rest home: Noah and Allie truly love each other, but they come from different walks of life. Allie’s parents do not want their daughter to marry a poor guy and then force them to separate. After World War II things get even worse: Allie’s engaged to a rich businessman and Noah is living alone recollecting their happy moments together.
