VOYAGE TO ABACOS. A spring journey north through the lovely Bahamas! We sail first to Mayaguana, then Ragged and the Jumentos Cays before heading to the Exumas. We sail the stunning blue shallow Exuma Islands of the Bahamas, and crossing the shallow banks toward Eleuthera. The island group of Eleuthera has maintained its quiet charm and the independent spirit of the Eleuthera Adventurers who settled here in the 1600's after leaving Bermuda. This is the Bahamas "as it used to be" with pink sand beaches, pristine reefs and the best fishing fleet. The Shards continue on to visit the most northern island group of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas where they light the historic light-house, get caught in a tropical downpour, learn about traditional boatbuilding and sample beach-life in the Abacos!
