MADAGSCAR. A nine-part series on the treasures of France’s overseas territories. The French overseas territories are a treasure trove of biodiversity. In a total surface area ten times smaller than France itself, we find more endemic species than in all of Europe. The question is for how much longer ? The extraordinary natural richness of these territories is nevertheless extremely fragile.
