HAZARDS OF THE SEA. Today still, the sea induces fear. In some people’s imagination, it is inhabited by sea monsters straight out of the depths. However, risk isn’t always where one would expect it. A prominent jaw is not systematically a threat and the most dangerous species often remain undercover. Danger from the human standpoint is often a strategy of defense for the sea creatures. The ocean has its own risks but, as often in nature, observation greatly helps to avoid them.
