CAMEROON ON THE WAY TO SCHOOL

More than 66 million school-aged girls do not attend primary nor secondary school worldwide. In the Briqueterie, a disadvantaged district of Cameroon's capital city Yaoundé, 52% of them do not attend school. These girls are Haoussa, a community from Northern Cameroon, the same community the terrorist group Boko Haram comes from. Its name means 'Western education is a sin'. Especially for girls... What are their chances of creating themselves a better future? A literate one? A chance to have a choice?
