THE BUTLER
At the White House an elderly butler named Cecil Gaines is waiting for the newly inaugurated president Barack Obama. While waiting, the butler recounts his life story and all the former US presidents he served. A butler’s job requires keeping what you heard to yourself and doing your job unnoticed. Serving eight presidents during his tenure, Cecil observed how American society was changing and even he has felt these changes.
