Monsters enter the human world in order to scare children. They use the screams of kids to make electricity for their city – Monstropolis. But the problem is, children are becoming more and more difficult to scare. One day, a little girl gets into their world. The top scarer nicknamed Sulley becomes attached to her and realizes that laughter is much more powerful than screams.
