An overflowing trash bin filled with crumpled paper can mean only one thing, Tom is writing a novel. It's a mystery novel, of course! / Butch is bobbing for apple cores when he spots a dolled up Toodles head his way! / Hildie and Beatie return from the Ol’ Time Goblin Fair with kettle corn, a giant stuffed warlock, and a piranha they won in the ball toss. Despite their warning not to touch the fish, Tom can’t pass up a chance to eat the catch of the day! But first he has to get past Jerry who is determined to protect his new friend. / Ginger brings home a mynah bird, who can mimic anyone, and along with Jerry, brings mayhem to the whole house. / Ginger tries to make Tom get some exercise and makes Tom take an unwanted walk. Jerry and Tuffy take advantage of the empty house. / Butler Tom is in charge of a stinky cheese, and must work hard to get near enough to stop Jerry from eating it.
