A virtuoso and something of a maverick, Portal is always up for musical experiments, exploring all kinds of fields! A regular guest at Europa Jazz over the past forty years, he has always delivered! This year, he presents a new project, involving Boyan Z and Bruno Chevillon, along with one of the greatest trombone players of today, Nils Wogram (who regularly plays with Bojan Z) and the new prodigy on the European jazz scene, young Belgian drummer Lander Gyselinck (Lab trio, Kris Defoort trio).
