Mogadishu, the Capital of Somalia is considered one of the most dangerous places on earth. Amidst the chaos of this war torn city, Mohamoud Nur, the Mayor of Mogadishu, is trying to make a difference by "altering the mindset of the people". He left his wife and six children behind in London, where he lived for over twelve years, to return home to Mogadishu at the request of President Sheikh Sharif. Across this compelling half-hour film we explore Mahamoud’s incredible story, leading up to his most ambitious initiative to date: a street festival celebrating Somali culture, the first event of its kind for many years and an obvious target for a terrorist attack.

When they travel through France to arrive in the Med they sail to Gibraltar. From Gibraltar they enter the Atlantic Ocean stopping at the exotic port of Rabat on the west coast of Morocco, then head offshore to explore the Canary Islands before joining the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) in Las Palmas for a 2,800 mile trans-atlantic passage to the Caribbean for Christmas celebrations.
