In Brazil we go to explore Porto de Galinhas, home to several of the most beautiful beaches along the North-eastern coast. For the second part we visit the fourth largest city in Brazil, Recife that has inherited an architectonic patrimony so beautiful that it is called "The Brazilian Venice". Then we continue to Olinda, declared in 1982 UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is one of the most well conserved colonial cities in all of Brazil, and which holds one of the most fascinating carnivals in the world. Here we meet the painter Sergio Vilanova who shows us his paintings and also his friend Silvio Bothelo work-shops where he makes the typical papier-mâché figures for the carnival.

This report takes a look behind the scenes of the world's smallest opera house, in the heart of New York. Tony Amato, the son of an Italian butcher, thought when he came to New York in the 40s that he could make it too by realizing his dream of owning an opera house. The house is 3 stories high and three windows wide. The hall feels no bigger than a living room, however its 107 seats are always sold out. Tony Amato continues to be the center and linchpin of this miniature opera. Tony is barely 5 foot tall, with his sneakers and the small, wiry man seems to be held up by his pant-suspenders. His voice is persuasive, his eyes bright. He conducts, sings, jumps, laughs and grumbles all at once. At 88 years of age, Maestro Tony Amato is in the middle of the season's last production.

Herpetologist Vince Shacks and underwater cameraman Brad Bestelink go on a unique crocodile diving adventure to find out more about these cave systems, and how the reptiles use them. They enter a dark underworld of mystery and danger, and they find themselves doing things that no one has ever attempted before. CLOSE Quarter Battle - EP. 03
After the fall of the soviet union many countries remained in dispute in the early nineties despite eastern Europe‘s independence. In 1994 a bitter confl ict broke out between the forces of the Chechnen independence movement and the Russian regular army. Despite overwhelming manpower, weaponry and air support, the Russian forces were unable to establish effective permanent control over the mountainous area due to many successful Chechen guerrilla raids. Improvised Explosive Devices were one of the most eff ective methods employed in these disastrous raids and were the back drop to many Close Quarter Battle scenarios exchanged between the two sides.

The history of the British Empire colonial legacy in Northern Ireland is well known the world over but a there is a largely untold story of the the fi refi ghts between and close quarter battles exchanged between the provisional IRA, the British army and the elite SAS. Although the IRA often employed „terrorist“ techniques within the city of london and on England‘s mainland not much is said of the often guerilla warfare techniques of the British Special Air Service in Northern Ireland since the beginning of this conflict. In this episode we will examine how the history of the Special Air Service aff ected the training of every elite force after it and how the close quarter battles in Northern Ireland in the late 1970s through to the millennium shaped both special forces and resistance methods.

After that, we go underneath the city at the Pointe a Calliere archaeology museum. Next, we’ll learn about the native ecosystem at the gigantic, indoor, BioDome. Lastly, we’ll learn about the 1967 Montreal Expo at the structures that are still visited today.

And for Benjamin and David, two former child soldiers, and Funaha held as a sex slave by one of the many militias that continue to terrorise the country, that metaphor remains a daily reality. The film explores how this seemingly never-ending conflict impacts on the people of North Kivu.
