The main character, lonely and shy Lucy, works as a cashier in the subway. Every day she sees the man of her dreams from the cashier's window. One day, before the Christmas holidays, the young man is attacked on the platform. Lucy saves him from death at the last second. The young man gets to the hospital and is unconscious.
