        The Aka Moon collective was formed in 1992, after a visit to the 'Aka' Pygmy people of Central Africa. Constantly seeking new musical experiences, they have released a dozen recordings involving over 50 of the world's most creative musicians. Aka Moon explores polyrhythms and polyphony, subtly mixing African, Indian and Western influences. Contemporary music, jazz, rock, techno and jungle aficionados will feel at home with their music. Aka Moon has performed in over 20 countries and leaves no one indifferent.
