They have also established a reputation for their performances of nineteenth century French music: Berlioz ('Les Nuits d'été', 'Harold en Italie'), Bizet ('L'Arlésienne'), Massenet ('Cendrillon')... Among their recent successes: Handel's 'Alcina' at the Vienna opera, Mozart's 'Idomeneo' at the Aix-en-Provence Festival, the Mozartwoche and the Musikfestbremen where the orchestra has been appearing regularly since 1995. In 2012, on its thirtieth birthday, the orchestra was invited to the Berlin Opera for 'Il trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno' by Handel.
