Panorama circus feat. Logan Richardson; Logan Richardson, sax; Jean-François Blanco, machine; Mathieu Jerome, piano; Blaise Chevallier, double bass; David Aknin, drums; François Olivier, videographer; Panorama Circus is the brain-child of Matthieu Jérôme and Jean-François Blanco. A fiasco! No danger of this with the Magnetic Ensemble. They turned the Maison de la Culture into a proper dance floor. No beatbox for Antonin Leymarie's quintet. Why use one when you can do so much better yourself? Techno has not been very popular with jazzmen, largely for its lack of flexibility (a rigid tempo, a uniformity of sound). The Magnetic Ensemble picks up the challenge and demonstrates brilliantly that techno can be human, very human. Prepare yourself for a technoid trance, slow, progressive, polyrhythmic, irresistible, wild, frenzied. This music is made for movement! Recorded on November 12th at the festival D'Jazz Nevers (Nevers, France) - (Maison de la Culture, hall); TV Director, Samuel Thiebaut (50 min)

Youn Sun Nah - D'jazz Nevers
Youn Sun Nah; Youn Sun Nah, voice; Tomek Miernowski, guitars, piano, synthesizer, programming; Rémi Vihnolo, drums, double bass, electric bass, programming; A decade after the release of Same Girl, recording marking the consecration in 2010 of Youn Sun Nah, she continues to assert herself as a singer resolutely not to be classified, whose all-embracing virtuoso voice can handle jazz, improvisation, opera, pop and world music. With her recent album, a polished made in-studio immersion with the complicity of her producer-arranger Clément Ducol, the Korean has produced her most personal work to date: apart from the revisiting of an eclectic repertoire from Albéniz to Michel Legrand and George Harrison, Marvin Gaye and Leonard Cohen, she leaves plenty of room for the first time for her own compositions, thus confirming a singular talent as a songwriter. An explosive cocktail, which can be taken full advantage of on stage with the complicity of Tomek Miernowski on guitars and keyboards as well as the phenomenal Rémi Vignolo, just as at ease on the drums as on the double bass. Recorded at the D'jazz Nevers on November 16, 2019; TV Director, Samuel Thiebaut (56 min)
